Check Engine is an offshoot of FLAT, a company that has been specialising in Porsche engines for over 20 years in the Lyon region of central France.
Having the skills, the teams and the equipment, it seemed logical to us to extend our services to all the premium makes that justify a quality service that meets our customers’ requirements. Seriousness, quality and responsiveness are the watchwords of all our staff.
Check Engine is a mechanical engineering company serving professionals and private individuals, specialising in the repair and rebuilding of premium engines and gearboxes.

Check Engine has 2400m² of workshops dedicated to precision mechanics. A team of 20 people is at your service, including turners, millers, grinders and welders. All the trades are present to ensure quality and responsiveness in our services.
Check’s ambition is to breathe new life into an endangered traditional craft thanks to a young and dynamic team, assisted by the latest generation of digitally-controlled equipment, with the sole aim of preserving the cultural heritage of the automotive industry.
