The most common faults with these types of gearboxes are jerking or overriding, but grunting noises on odd gears are also common.
DCT - MERCEDES
Mercedes’ DCT gearbox, also known as Speedshift MCT (Multi Clutch Technology), is synonymous with performance, and is therefore mainly intended for the brand’s AMG models. Apart from the multi-disc clutch, there’s nothing revolutionary in terms of technology compared with any other robotised gearbox!
