And now the replacement for the Murcielago has been unveiled! And the least we can say is that Lamborghini hasn’t cut any corners! The Lamborghini Aventador LP 700-4 uses a carbon fibre monocoque, giving it a record dry weight in its category: 1,575 kilos! In terms of looks, if you liked the Murcielago, you should love the Aventador, which takes its name from one of Spain’s bravest bulls… The design is aggressively beautiful, with taut muscularity. The doors open like the wings of a butterfly. Inside, the wide central tunnel has a button under a red cover that is used to wake up the twelve cylinders. The dashboard is like that of a modern aircraft, with instrumentation presented on a TFT-LCD screen. A second screen is dedicated to the multimedia and navigation system. In short, the Ferrari Lamborghini war continues… and so much the better!
