In practical terms, this new restyled version is of little interest, other than to strike a compromise between the more eccentric MC Stradale and the restrained S variant. Aesthetically, the Maserati GranTurismo gets refined headlamps with a few LEDs, but above all a new bumper, very much inspired by the MC Stradale, with a spoiler rising above the trident air intake. A new steering wheel will also be fitted to the cabin. The power of the 4.7-litre V8 engine has also been revised upwards, in order to keep up with the ever-increasing number of rivals (Porsche, Aston Martin, etc). It’s not a revolution; the firm has only added 10 more horsepower than the MC Stradale, which is still 55bhp more than the base model, making it the most powerful car in the range.
